This is also my new midlife chapter where I'll be exiting the dark ages of self-neglect and entering the renaissance of self-care and sharing all the things I find with you, with the intention that it'll serve your mind, body & whole self.

Art is definitely an element that can be considered part of one's self-care practice, because there's nothing like having art in your space that serves you in some way, whether it's through the style, beauty, composition, colors, memories it renders, messaging, or however the work speaks to you. 

Personally, I feel like art in all of its many forms is a gift to humanity. Imagine what life would be like without paintings, music, films, books, poetry, opera, dance, etc. I shudder at the thought of it.

Hopefully my work will uplift you, or inspire you, or make you giggle, or resonate with and serve you on some level.

Since I make everything, including my own bodycare products, I'll be sharing how to make a variety of hair + body products using natural ingredients and my recipes will not include cucumbers, or any other types of food. Well, except olive oil and coconut oil. Stay tuned...

Affirmations

Thought leaders, authors, experts across various industries, those in the self development space and the like, often speak about positive affirmations, positive thinking, setting intentions, shifting the mind from scarcity thinking to abundance thinking and changing the mind, changing the mind, changing the mind. 

I wish I was paying attention to these things when I was younger, but you learn when you learn and now I know. I believe in the power of the mind and affirmations being of assistance to change the mindset from negative thinking to positive thinking. That said, I've added frameable affirmations to my Printables Shop and hope they will be of service to you.
